It has been a very positive week here as we made it to the end of the 2021 year.
We are very proud of all our students’ efforts this week, including: Grade 8 classes listening to a presentation about District Programs which have a January application deadline, a Grade 7/8 basketball game where many students were the audience while following all our COVID protocols, a Young Entrepreneurs Craft Fair where many of our Grade 7 students created and sold items as part of their project about running businesses, a Hamper Drive by our Grade 8 French Immersion students which all our students supported, a Spirit Week organized by our Grade 8 Leadership students and finally a whole school music/treats time in the cafeteria where class by class they enjoyed treats served by staff and had time together.
We are so pleased that we could support 17 Central families with hampers this year- made possible by donations from PAC, the Grace Lutheran Church, and staff.
As we move in to a new year I want to thank all our Central Families for their support of us during another unexpected year. As we have had to adapt and change to keep our community safe during these unimagined times, you have continued to be patient and supportive. While we haven’t returned to fully regular activities, you have assisted by being drivers/fans and audience members—it has been so heart warming to see you again. Thank you all.
We look forward to seeing you our Central community, refreshed and rejuvenated on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022.
On behalf of the entire staff, we wish you a safe and restful break.
