As we approach the end of the calendar year, the days are getting shorter and colder, and we are nearing the end of the first term.
We want to thank everyone for continuing to be diligent around the Covid-19 safety protocols and ensuring that your children are wearing their masks each and every day and washing/sanitizing their hands throughout the day.
We also know that this is typically cold and flu season and we thank you for taking the time to complete Daily Health checks with your family to ensure that we are helping keep each other safe. As the cases rise around us, we continue to look to the health authorities for their direction and guidance around best practices to ensure public safety. We know that having students and staff come together at schools can pose some risk, but we also know that schools are important places to remain open so that students can continue to learn, socialize and get the support they need to grow.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns as communication is the key to supporting each other during these unprecedented times. We will continue to provide updates as necessary through our “Central Weekly” but if you have specific questions or concerns we are happy to hear from you. We have many winter traditions here on Team Spartan (such as Family hampers, Spirit Days, assemblies, concerts, pancake breakfasts and more) and will be endeavoring to have them happen in a safe and celebratory way.
It has been a first term unlike any other and we want to thank you for your support and flexibility as we have navigated it together.
