SPECIAL FEATURE:

Our intro music this morning was of course Stromae with Alors on Danse, and that wraps up our francophone music for this week.  Congratulations to all the immersion students and their teachers doing such an outstanding job on their performances this week and next.

CULTURE & EVENTS:

Me to We will be hosting another school dance later this term! If you have a song request, please put it  in the REQUEST BIN in the Library. School appropriate songs only! Thanks.

This is totally amazing.  Now you can put requests in one box for the dance, or in a different box for the morning announcements!  Both boxes are in the library! I’m shook.

Musical concession will be in the foyer during lunch recess. Stop by with a loonie or toonie on your way outside and you could enjoy: chocolate cupcakes, jumbo chocolate chip cookies, rice crispies, chips or an ice cold drink. See you there!

ATHLETICS:

Any grade 6 girls in volleyball who did not receive a schedule, please come to Mr Levesque’s class at lunch today.

No practice for Grade 6/7 Rec boys volleyball today.

REMINDERS:

Any grade 8 students interested in participating in the mini-trades program at Lambrick Park Secondary over spring break please bring your forms into the office and put them in Mr. Golder’s folder. Spots are filling up fast so don’t wait for the deadline.

Any classes attending this morning’s circus performance, please begin loading at 10:00 to ensure that the performance can start on time.  We’ve got a full house with classes coming from other schools. Classes attending the afternoon performance can begin loading right at 1:00 for a 1:30 start.

There are lost and found objects for Cole Barr and Hanna Kucher.  Also, a really schmancy blue and black digital watch that Rohan has got his eye on.

Next week, we’ll have Kody and Navaeh back in the studio to launch you into your day.  The schedule for the next few weeks is posted on the office window.

Our last song request for this week goes out to Arayah.  Say “hey there” if you see her around the school.
