CULTURE AND EVENTS: 

Congratulations to Div 18 who are the winning class for this year’s this year’s Food and Sock Drive! Ms Zucko and Mr Flash’s class brought in almost 600 points of items, and over 1000% of their goal! Congratulations also to our top team, the Grade 6 French Immersion classes, who, as a team, brought in the most items and win Talent Show front row seats. A HUGE thank you to everyone who brought in cans, socks, toques, pasta and everything else!

Central’s Talent Show is this Friday afternoon! The line up of performers will be posted outside the office at Nutrition Break. We will have a rehearsal Wednesday – listen for more details. Thanks to everyone who auditioned.

ATHLETICS: 

Volleyball:  Important Boys 8 meeting today at Nutrition break in Room 305

                   Practice at 12:00 and 2:45 today.  As well as Wednesday 7:15 sharp

                   Boys 7 Competitive practices Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:15 sharp

                                                                        As well as Thursday after school

      Girls 6 / 7 Rec Practice Tuesday 2:45 – 4:30

      Girls 7 Comp  Practice Tuesday 2:45 – 4:30

      Girls 8 Wednesday 2:45 – 4:30  (3 teams will be decided after

                                     that practice)

      Boys 6 Rec practice on Thursday, 2:45 – 4:30

MUSIC: 

Reminder to grade 8 music exploratory students to bring PENCILS to class today.

REMINDERS:  

Dance company members who are part of the holiday performance please meet Ms. Gennai and Ms. Schlappner on the stage at lunch recess. 🙂

A reminder to all Aboriginal students wishing to attend the Explore the Salish Sea event to return their permission forms to Mr. Forsberg as soon as possible. The first classroom session is on Tuesday.

A set of keys was found in one of the second floor washrooms.  You can claim them in the office.
